By focusing exclusively on SW Calgary neighbourhoods, we guarantee timely visits, calm transitions, and reliable one-on-one care right in your local community. We are based primarily in Discovery Ridge (hence the name) but will travel anywhere in the surrounding area!

Why do you strictly offer solo walks instead of pack walks?

We avoid crowded, leashed pack walks where dogs are crammed together and forced onto the same repetitive route. Solo walks ensure your dog gets undivided attention, personalized mental and physical enrichment, and the freedom to explore at their own comfortable pace.

Can you walk multiple dogs from the same household?

Yes! While we do not mix unfamiliar dogs, we have a strict 3-dog maximum rule per walk for dogs from the same home or familiar dog friends who already get along well.

Do you work with reactive or anxious dogs?

Absolutely. All dogs are welcome regardless of temperament or history. We have extensive experience handling reactive, nervous, or slow-to-warm-up dogs, always proceeding at their pace with structured, positive guidance.

What qualifications and experience do you have?

Owner Vida Santos brings hands-on experience volunteering with the Calgary Humane Society, training therapy dogs with PALS, and assisting at a local veterinary clinic, alongside titled competitive handling with her working line German Shepherd, Moose.

Which neighbourhoods in Calgary do you service?

We primarily operate across southwest Calgary. This includes Discovery Ridge, Signal Hill and Springbank Hill, Aspen, Altadore, Lakeview, Killarney, and more!! If you are located nearby or on the border of our service radius, please reach out to confirm availability in your specific area.

What safety precautions are taken on every walk?

Safety is our top priority. We use secure handling equipment, carefully manage trigger distances, avoid high-stress dog parks, and tailor walking routes to keep your dog comfortable and out of stressful situations.

Do you offer training support during regular walks?

Yes! We make training engaging and fun by reinforcing polite leash manners, impulse control, and breed-specific fulfillment during every solo outing so your dog returns home both physically exercised and mentally satisfied.

When and how can I schedule a walk?

Walks are available weekday afternoons and anytime on weekends. Contact me to set up a time and discuss scheduling. I am currently a full time student so availability is more limited during the school year!
