Our walking and training services

Solo enrichment walks

One-on-one attention without the chaos of a pack. We believe walks should never be one-size-fits-all. Whether your pup loves to sniff and explore at a relaxed pace or needs active training and reinforcement, we structure each outing to fulfill their natural instincts safely. During a solo adventure with us your dog explores at their own pace and is guaranteed to have fun! This is also a great option that keeps it safe for reactive dogs who may need more space to learn calm behavior while staying at a distance from other dogs.

Household & buddy walks

Designed for multi-dog homes or pre-approved dog friends. We maintain a strict limit of three dogs per outing to guarantee safety and ensure each dog receives the attention they deserve.

Walk & train support

Reinforcing loose-leash walking, engagement in distracting environments, off-leash skills, impulse control, and polite manners with people and other dogs are all skills we strive towards with your pet. We also offer coaching on any of those specific skills through training sessions and walk and trains where you and your dog can learn together. Perfect if you have an energetic pup or working breed and would like to learn more about dog behaviour and how to better yourself as a handler.

Out of neighborhood trail outing

Our out of neighborhood trail outing gives your dog an opportunity to recieve further mental enrichment by exploring outside of their home base! With a 2 dog limit for out of neighborhood trail adventures, your dog is guaranteed to ride securely in my vehicle in either a crash tested "Ruffland" kennel or dog seatbelt setup. Approved park locations include North or South Glenmore park, Fish Creek park, Edworthy Park, and Griffith Woods Park. If you live within walking distance from any of these parks it is not considered an out of neighborhood outing and would just be a regularly priced adventure! The location for an out of neighborhood outing is always confirmed with the owner prior to confirmation of the booking.

No dog is turned away because they feel overwhelmed or reactive. With extensive hands-on experience handling rescue dogs, anxious and fearful dogs, reactive pups and high-drive breeds, we patiently build trust and comfort at their pace.

A calm, supportive approach for every temperament

No crowded pack walks

Large pack walks with ten leashed dogs walking the same repetitive loop can commonly cause frustration, and overstimulation for many dogs. Disco Dogs YYC exclusively focuses on individual fulfillment. Your dog receives the handler's full concentration, ensuring their safety, building their confidence, and giving them the freedom to calmly interact with their environment.

Experienced handling for reactive and shy dogs

Living with a reactive dog can make daily walks stressful for owners. Using experience from working with a variety of dogs with all types of reactivity whether it be fear, excitement, or genetic we work hard to reduce your pets stress by shaping more positive behaviour. We avoid known triggers when possible, practice calm disengagement, and create positive associations using play and other engagement games on every walk.
